What is .vob file?
A VOB is movie data file from a DVD disc.VOB stands for VIdeo Object. It is stored in the VIDEO_TS folder & contains the majority of data stored on the disc including video, audio, and subtitles. It is usually formatted as an MPEG-2 system stream and can be opened by various video playback programs.
A container file is a "shell" of a file that is able to hold a variety of other files within it. This means that the .vob file can hold multiple files that are merged into a single file location on a user's computer.
